Experience

For my cultural experience, I decided to go to Kinjo's with my parents, a sushi restaurant that I have frequented many times in the past. Here are some of my photos from that experience. Have fun!

The menu at Kinjo's is one of those menus where you simply check off what you want and then hand it to the waitress. You can also see wasabi and ginger. They actually asked if we wanted those condiments before we even sat down. I guess some people are sensitive and others aren't.

Here are the soy sauces and chopsticks. You can read more about chopsticks in my report. They had both normal soy sauces and sweet soy sauces. I'm not really sure what the difference is since I've always thought soy sauce tasted similar anyway.

The restaurant wasn't that full today although it usually it is more crowded. Probably because of COVID-19 fears. Speaking of which, there were a lot of hand sanitizers there.

Inside there's a restaurant, there's a small market that showcases some products. I've never actually bought anything in there mainly because it's always just as crowded as the restaurant itself. Here are a bunch of different flavored Pocky's.

In this part of the market, there are a bunch of candies. Unfortunately I can't what tell what some of them say due to not being able to read Japanese. Visually speaking, they look very appealing.

This is Mochi ice cream. I wonder what the difference is between regular ice cream and Mochi ice cream since I've never had it before.

In all the times I've been to Kinjo's, I've never noticed these giant cardboard boxes of Pocky before. I thought it was so amusing that I just had to take this picture.

This is one our food items: A lobster roll. It was a good thing that it was real lobster since my dad is allergic to fish, shellfish and simulated lobster. It was quite delicious as well!
